How are vendor profiles sourced and verified?
Each vendor record separates three things and labels which is which: editorially compiled structured facts, vendor-supplied descriptions, and sponsored content.
Editorial fields are compiled from public company materials and public records, with the review date shown on the record. Vendor-supplied fields are published as the company’s own statements about itself and are not converted into editorial claims.
Anything that cannot be confidently established is marked as not independently verified rather than guessed. Regulatory status in particular is never inferred from marketing material.
