Who should sit on a healthcare AI governance committee?

Composition varies, but the recurring seats are clinical leadership, clinical informatics, information security, privacy and compliance, legal, data science or analytics, quality and safety, and someone from the operational area that will actually use the tools.

Two seats are frequently missing and frequently regretted. The first is nursing informatics, which matters for anything touching bedside workflow. The second is a named accountable owner for each deployed model, as distinct from committee membership in general, because a committee cannot own a model and a model without a named owner does not get monitored.
